Showcase #22. Origin and 1st Appearance of Silver-Age Green Lantern Hal Jordan. 1st Appearance of Abin Sur, as well as Carol Ferris. (6.5 Restored Grade)

This is the coolest CGC graded book we have in the store (in the author’s opinion). Coming to us from 1959, this issue boasts the origin and first appearance of the Silver Age Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. Not only do we get the origin of Hal Jordan, but the first appearances of his passing mentor Abin Sur, as well as his future love interest Carol Ferris. So many first appearances in one book can mean only one thing… it isn’t going to be cheap. This book is priced at $3,500.
